A Bit About Dando London
Christine travelled extensively when she was young. Born in Kingston-Upon-Thames her family moved away from the UK when she was 3 years old. They travelled across Europe and Asia finally settling in Yemen. A lover of the cosmopolitan lifestyle she then trained in fashion design, pattern cutting and dressmaking in Singapore.
Inspired by Princess Diana’s wedding dress, Christine opened her first bridal boutique in the UK in 1981. It wasn’t long after this that she was whisked away to Canada. Recognized for her specialism in bespoke gowns she was recruited as Head Designer and Creative Director for the Alfred Sung range.
